“A property that makes you feel like you won the lottery."

My husband and I took our 4 children, 3 daughters-in-law, one grandchild and two nieces to this amazing place. The house, a property that makes you feel like you won the lottery, was amazing.

But the real living is oceanfront. The pool nearly meets the ocean and we spent many hours right there. We did some sightseeing but ultimately decided, their was no reason to leave the compound. That's what it is. If you want a family reunion, this is the place. The waterfront is stunning as is the property.

We have one regret. We didn't stay longer... We want to go back and our friends, having drooled over our pictures, want to go with their families too.

“This house has it all”

This house has it all. Started each day drinking coffee poolside, as we overlooked the ocean, a light, cool sea breeze blowing in our hair. The house has so many amenities it is hard to decide each day what to start with. From kayaking, to ping pong to snorkeling on the beach right in front of the house, there were endless things to do, though you just may opt to sit down, relax, and let the beauty of the Bahamas fill you with the tranquility that comes from just being.

“Heaven!”

This is our second visit to Nassau and our second time at this home. This place is the best. Only minutes from the airport and many activities. Three couples stayed for 5 days and we all agreed, we wished we'd stayed longer!

The bedrooms are spacious, beautifully appointed and we slept like babies. This visit we went on the Booze Cruise - well worth it. What a hoot! Live music, booze (duh) and a stop on a small island to do some swimming. Some in our group also went on a snorkel cruise which they said was really fun and close by. We were able to walk along the beach to the casino, lots of fun even if you don't gamble. The city bus stop is within walking distance and easy to maneuver. All in all, this place is the best - beachside pool, incredible views, outdoor seating/dining, huge kitchen, excellent media room, comfortable bedding, beautiful bathrooms and perfect location. We will definitely be back!

“Sandy beach just a few steps away.”

We fit 3 families - 7 adults, 6 teenagers in the main house/guest house. The main house was great. Roomy, lots of seating inside and outside on the patio. Kitchen is well equipped.

Spent lots of time outdoors on the patio/in the pool. The paddle board and sea kayak were fantastic. Went snorkelling and fishing right in the bay.

“Guys Trip.”

I recently visited for a guys trip with friends and the property management made this stay exceedingly easy, allowing us to dedicate most of the time to relaxing. The facilities were amazing and everything was in top shape. The pool was set up for us and stayed warm and comfortable even in January. While I accidentally left a couple of valuable items in the house, the staff has helped us by promptly locating them and offering a safe return to us via fedex. We could not have chosen a better spot to stay. Thanks, Shangri La!

“It was a beautiful castle”

We all loved the house. We enjoyed our stay. There was a lot of space for everybody, everything was clean and friendly.It was a beautiful castle for us with everything and more that we needed. We would have loved to move the house to Austria.

“Spectacular stretch of beach.”

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Shangri La! The main house is exactly as described - a beautiful home with all of the necessary amenities. The kitchen had everything with plenty of room and seating. We loved the comfortable outdoor seating - perfect overlooking a spectacular stretch of beach with calm, beautiful water. It's also an easy, close ride to downtown Nassau and Paradise Island. We explored Nassau and it is a great town! You will definitely love your stay here and we highly recommend it!
